Nick Freitas
Virginia
Nick Freitas lives in Culpeper, Virginia with his high school sweetheart and wife, Tina, along with their three children. Nick is serving in his second term in the House of Delegates for Virginia’s 30th District. After his high school graduation, Nick joined the Army. Following 9/11, he volunteered for the U.S. Army Special Forces (Green Berets), and served 2 tours in Iraq. Following his honorable discharge in 2009, Nick became the Director of Operations for a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned company. During his first term as delegate, Nick proudly patroned legislation which reduced onerous regulations, improved government transparency and drastically increased local control of education curriculum. Some of Nick’s most recents achievements include pushing for one of the nation’s strictest civil asset forfeiture reform bills and taking a strong stand for occupational licensing reform on behalf of Virginia’s working professionals.
Mike Gibbons
Ohio
Mike Gibbons was born in Cleveland and grew up in Parma, Ohio. His father, Gene Gibbons, was a high school teacher and wrestling coach, and Mike learned the value of hard work at an early age. He played football at St. Ignatius High School and Kenyon College, and went to work early – first with a paper route, then as a landscaper, later on construction crews and the factory floor.
But Brown Gibbons Lang & Company was just the beginning. Mike Gibbons has also served as Managing Partner of the Cleveland Crunch professional soccer franchise, Co-Owner of Cheboygan Tap & Tool, and Co-Owner of Northern Lake Properties. In 2015, he co-founded Luna Living, a startup that provides treatment and recovery options for opioid addiction. At every turn, Gibbons was willing to recognize opportunity, take risk, and create jobs.
Matt Rosendale
Montana
Matt Rosendale, 57, is a rancher, businessman and proven leader. He is the son and brother of U.S. Marines.
Matt was instrumental in taking a five agent, one office real estate firm and growing it into a four office, 65 agent organization. He was a broker and owner.
When he is not in Helena doing his work as Montana’s State Auditor, he and his wife Jean live on their family ranch north of Glendive, in Eastern Montana. Matt has spent many long hours mending fences, herding cattle and working the land. After living and working in their tight-knit community for a nearly a decade, Matt was asked by community members to run for the Montana legislature in 2010.
Eric Brakey
Maine
Eric Brakey is an American politician and the State Senator for District 20 in the Maine Senate after defeating Democratic challenger Kimberly Sampson with 62% of the vote. He was Maine State Director for the 2012 Ron Paul presidential campaign winning a majority of Maine delegate seats to the 2012 Republican National Convention. After working for Ron Paul’s 2012 presidential campaign, Brakey led Defense of Liberty PAC, a libertarian political action committee in Maine.
